[EDIT] marginally better worded punchline
Continuality of this continues to suck
"It feels as if a giant weight is holding me back"
It's probably the sword
Still playing Final Fantasy VII, still loving every second, still making FF comics with striking inaccuracies and plot holes, but it's all good.
A quick overview for all those who havn't played FF7 and an apology for the Minor Spoilers; not that you havnt had 12 years to play this game anyway:
'Cloud gets sick somehow, and is confined to a clinic in someplace. Cid gets voted as the team's leader and so they set off to do awesome things.'
And thats about it
Really this just started as a test to see if I could draw and ink a comic on paper, then scan to colour digitally.
I, err, didnt manage it.
This is mainly because traditional inking doesn't have a CTRL-Z funtion. Oh well, at least this is the first time I've inked digitally from pencil.
Sorry for the delay: I should have posted something last week, but important, life changing exams got in the way.
They have a habit of doing that.
Next week will be a Brawl comic, I swear!
Cloud doesn't have any existential breakdowns until mid-way through the game, after Sephiroth mind-controls him and forces Cloud to hand over the very thing they were fighting to keep away from him. It only got worse when he very nearly forced Cloud to kill Aerith, before dropping down and doing it himself.
Despite what the spin-offs seem to think, he also overcame that breakdown by the end of the game.
Before that? In the first quarter especially? Cloud put up a tough guy front and projected the image that everyone was lucky to have him along. He was the veteran SOLDIER who knew exactly what to do and how to get things done -- at least, that's what he and everyone else thought.
Heh, this really made me laugh! Loved it.
Question, why doesn't anyone seem to like Cloud? QAQ
